Story

Sheikh Cemil Mansion is located in the Seyhan district of Adana, in the historical Tepebağ Neighborhood. Although the exact construction date of the building is unknown, considering its architectural features and the general building style of the period, it is thought to date back to the late 19th or early 20th century. The mansion takes its name from Sheikh Cemil, a well-known and respected family member in the region. In its time, it played an important role in the social and cultural life of the region, hosting many important events and guests. It holds cultural significance as one of the rare and well-preserved examples of Ottoman civil architecture in Adana.
