The Shrine of Prophet Shuayb (Jethro) is situated in the Misis (Yakapınar) town, part of Adana's Seyhan district, on the west bank of the Ceyhan River, near the Misis Ancient City. This shrine, revered with great respect by the local community, is attributed to Prophet Shuayb, who, according to Islamic belief, was the father-in-law of Prophet Moses and a prophet sent to the people of Midian.
