Diyadin Canyon is located within the borders of the Göğebakan district of Ağrı province, on the Şehitlik Stream, one of the branches of the Murat River. This canyon, which owes its formation to thousands of years of geological processes, is also closely related to the volcanic structure of the region. The narrow and deep structure of the canyon, especially in spring, combines with the turbulent waters of the melting snow to offer an impressive view. The canyon walls are adorned with rock layers of different colors and stalactite-stalagmite-like formations that occur in places.
