The Amasya Bayezid II Complex was built between 1481 and 1486 by Bayezid II, one of the important sultans of the Ottoman Empire. Located on the banks of the Yeşilırmak River, just below Amasya Castle, this complex is a comprehensive group of structures consisting of a mosque, madrasa, imaret (soup kitchen), hammam (bathhouse), and tomb.
