This tomb, which houses the grave of the great Turkish mystic and poet Hacı Bayram-ı Velî, who lived between 1352 and 1430, has attracted visitors for centuries, especially due to its role as the center of the Bayramiye order. During his lifetime, Hacı Bayram-ı Velî made a great impact with both his deep knowledge in religious sciences and his teachings that brought people together. The tomb forms a complex with the Hacı Bayram Mosque, and this complex is also notable for its location right next to the Temple of Augustus, dating back to the Roman period. The proximity of these three structures showcases Ankara's multi-layered history, having hosted different civilizations.
