The Melike Hatun Sultan Tomb is an important monumental structure from the Ottoman period, located in the Altındağ district of Ankara, in the heart of the historical Ulus region. The tomb is dated to the late 14th or early 15th century, and although there are different opinions about its owner, it is generally attributed to Melike Hatun, one of the wives or daughters of Sultan Murad I. However, some sources suggest that the tomb may belong to a later period, or even to another Melike Hatun. The structure represents one of the rare examples of Ankara's Ottoman architectural heritage. The simple yet aesthetic exterior of the octagonal tomb, built of cut stone, reflects the architectural understanding of its period. The upper covering of the tomb is completed with a lead-covered dome. The interior has a more modest appearance compared to the exterior and generally carries the typical interior features of tombs of that period.
