Kurşunlu Waterfall Nature Park
Description
A natural waterfall and nature park famous for its dense forest texture and ponds, featuring walking trails and viewpoints.
Story
Kurşunlu Waterfall Nature Park is a hidden paradise of nature located about 20 kilometers from the center of Antalya, at the end of the road extending towards Aksu. Surrounded by pine forests, the water flows through a deep valley accompanied by small ponds and various-sized cascades, creating an impressive view as it falls from a height of approximately 18 meters at the main waterfall. The walking trails within the park guide visitors through wooden bridges that sometimes bring them very close to the water, and at other times, narrow paths that open up to the side slopes of the valley. Along the way, you will encounter a rich diversity of plant life thanks to the humid microclimate created by the water; ivy, ferns, mosses, and various shrub species wrap around the waters like a green tunnel. Kurşunlu is not only a picnic area but also an attractive stop for bird watchers and nature photographers. In the early morning hours, when the mist gently settles into the valley, the beams of light dancing on the water offer extraordinary photo opportunities. Since the nature park has been under protection since the 1990s, construction has been limited, and operational areas have been concentrated in certain regions. This allows for relatively quiet corners to be found even during peak seasons when you walk deeper into the park. ATV tours and nature walks organized in the area provide alternative activities for adventure-seeking visitors, while safe picnic and excursion areas are prioritized for families. Kurşunlu Waterfall is an ideal half-day getaway for those looking to add a different color to their sun-sea-sand holiday; spending a few hours accompanied by the sound of water creates a refreshing mental effect in the Mediterranean heat.
Visit Tips

- The park is especially crowded during the summer months, particularly around noon; opt for the morning hours for a cooler and more peaceful experience.
- Since the walking paths are occasionally stair-filled and uneven, it may be difficult to navigate the entire route with a stroller.
- It is recommended to wear closed shoes with non-slip soles around the waterfall to protect against splashes of water.
