Dilek Peninsula-Büyük Menderes Delta National Park is located within the provincial borders of Aydın, between the districts of Kuşadası and Söke. The conservation process, which began in 1966 with the declaration of Dilek Peninsula as a national park, reached its current form in 1994 with the inclusion of the Büyük Menderes Delta.
