Located near Hacıömeroğlu Mosque in the Efeler district of Aydın, the Historical Greek Bath is one of the significant examples of civil architecture built during the Ottoman Empire. Although the exact construction date of the structure is unknown, it is believed to date back to the 18th or 19th century based on its architectural features. The bathhouse exhibits the characteristics of classical Ottoman bath architecture. Comprising cold, warm, and hot sections, the structure has a typical Turkish bath plan. Especially the domed ceiling and star-shaped skylights in the hot section reflect the aesthetic understanding and engineering skills of the period. The walls of the bathhouse were built using cut stone and brick, and the interiors were decorated with plaster and mosaics. It is known that the structure was actively used for many years, but over time it fell into disrepair due to neglect and natural disasters such as earthquakes. In the early 20th century, it began to be referred to as the 'Greek Bath' due to the high concentration of the Greek population in the region.
