Zincirli Kaya is a natural rock formation located southwest of Bilecik city center, near the Tomb of Sheikh Edebali. Due to the geological structure of the region, it has a unique appearance, having emerged as a result of millions of years of erosion and tectonic movements. The rock formation is intertwined with the surrounding settlement fabric and is one of the important points that bring together the historical and natural beauties of Bilecik. Since no archaeological excavations or detailed research have been carried out on and around the rocks, there is no clear information about its exact date of formation and its relationship with human history. However, considering the general history of the region, it is thought that the surroundings of the rocks have hosted various civilizations throughout history.
