Aghperig Monastery is a historical structure located near the village of İkizler in Bitlis, and it is one of the important examples of Armenian architecture. Although the exact construction date of the monastery is unknown, its similarities with other Armenian monasteries in the region and its connection with other structures mentioned in historical sources suggest that it was built in the Middle Ages. The monastery complex consists of the main church, a chapel, monastic cells, and other auxiliary buildings.
