According to legends, Osman Gazi, the founder of the Ottoman State, also rested in its shade. This tree has silently witnessed many historical events throughout history. The trunk diameter of the tree is approximately 3 meters, and its circumference exceeds 18 meters. Reaching a height of 35 meters and with branches covering a wide area, this plane tree is virtually a living history book. Over time, the branches of the tree have sagged towards the ground due to their weight and have had to be supported. This situation is an indication of how old and large the tree is.
