The Hacı Hamza Sultan Tomb is located in the village of Hosislamlar, in the Atkaracalar district of Çankırı. The tomb is attributed to Hacı Hamza Sultan, one of the Khorasan saints who played an important role in the Turkification and Islamization of Anatolia. According to legends, Hacı Hamza Sultan lived in the 13th or 14th century, came to the region to spread Islam, and engaged in guidance activities.
