The Three Girls' Tomb is a historical structure located in Karatekin Neighborhood, in the city center of Çankırı. Believed to belong to the Seljuk period, the tomb attracts attention with its architectural features and construction technique. The tomb has a square plan and is covered with a pyramidal conical roof. Its walls are built of cut stone, giving it a simple appearance. Inside, there are sarcophagi of three sisters, from whom the tomb is believed to have taken its name. Although there is no definitive information about who these sisters were, various legends are told among the public. According to some sources, these sisters were the daughters of important figures of the period and were buried here upon their death. According to another legend, these sisters were individuals who did not want to marry and dedicated themselves to religion. The architecture of the tomb bears the typical characteristics of Seljuk period kümbets (tomb towers). Especially the stone craftsmanship and simple decorations reflect the aesthetic understanding of the period. Although the tomb has undergone various repairs over time, it has largely preserved its original structure.
