The Germiyanlıoğulları Historical Waqf Bathhouse is an important historical structure located in the center of Denizli, dating back to the Germiyanid Principality period. Believed to have been built in the 14th century, this bathhouse was actively used during the Ottoman period and underwent various renovations. The architecture of the bathhouse reflects the characteristics of traditional Turkish bath architecture of its time. It has a classic plan consisting of cold, warm, and hot sections. The walls of the structure were built using rubble stone and brick, while its domes were constructed with brick. Especially the dome in the hot section is illuminated by small windows called 'filgözü' (elephant's eye). For centuries, the bathhouse played an important role in the cleanliness and social life of the people of Denizli. It was restored by the General Directorate of Foundations and preserved to the present day. During the restoration work, efforts were made to adhere to the original texture of the structure. Today, the bathhouse is also used for cultural events and exhibitions, forming an important part of Denizli's cultural heritage. The hand-drawn decorations and geometric patterns seen in the interior of the structure reflect the aesthetic understanding of the period.
