The Germiyanoğulları Bathhouse is located in the city center of Denizli, near the Kaleiçi Bazaar. Although the exact construction date of the building is unknown, considering its architectural features and the general construction style of the period, it is dated to the Germiyanoğulları Beylik period, specifically the 13th or 14th century. The bathhouse was also used during the Ottoman period and underwent various repairs. The structure, which bears the characteristics of classical Ottoman bath architecture, consists of cold, warm, and hot sections. The cold section serves as a changing and resting area, while the warm section provides a transition to the hot section. The hot section includes the navel stone (gobek taşı) and private cells (halvet). Cut stone and brick were used in the construction of the bathhouse. The domed and vaulted ceilings reflect the aesthetic understanding of the period. The Germiyanoğulları Bathhouse served the people of Denizli for many years, becoming an important part of social and cultural life. However, over time, it lost its function and fell into disrepair.
