Samandere Waterfall Nature Monument is an impressive natural formation located within Samandere Village of Düzce’s central district, surrounded by dense forests. It is one of the first waterfalls in Turkey to be designated as a nature monument. The three-tiered waterfall flows powerfully throughout the year and reflects the region’s hydrological structure and Black Sea climate. Wooden walkways and observation platforms allow visitors to explore the area without harming the natural environment. The Samandere Valley is also rich in biodiversity, featuring lush vegetation, moss-covered rocks, and various bird species. The site offers a peaceful nature experience and is one of Düzce’s most valuable protected natural areas.
