Divle Castle is a historical structure located within the borders of the Ayrancı district of Karaman and bears traces of medieval defensive architecture. Built on a high and dominant position, the castle was designed to control its surroundings effectively, which made it strategically important throughout history. Although the exact construction date is unknown, it is believed to have been actively used during periods when the region changed hands between Byzantine and Turkish-Islamic rule. The remaining ruins consist of fortification walls and defensive structures built using rubble stone and local rock materials. These remnants clearly indicate that the castle was designed for military defense.
