Story

Hunat Hatun Complex stands in the historical center of Kayseri as one of the most elegant examples of Seljuk architecture. It was commissioned in 1238 by Mahperi Hunat Hatun, the mother of Anatolian Seljuk Sultan Alâeddin Keykubat I and wife of Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev I. The complex is a comprehensive collection of structures comprising a mosque, madrasa, bathhouse, and tomb, designed to meet the social, religious, and educational needs of its era.
