Story
Sahip Ata Mosque and Complex is located in the Meram district of Konya and was built during the Anatolian Seljuk period. Commissioned by Sahip Ata Fahreddin Ali in the late 13th century, the complex reflects the distinctive aesthetics of Seljuk stone craftsmanship. Consisting of a mosque, madrasa, bath and tomb, it served both religious and social life of its period. The elegant stone decorations, column capitals and inscriptions highlight the fine Seljuk architectural style. Today, the mosque remains active for worship, and the complex is frequently visited by both local and international visitors.
