Description
Çınarsuyu Nature Park
Story
Çınarsuyu Nature Park, where the sea's deep blue waters meet century-old pine and plane trees at the western entrance of Ünye district, is one of the widest and most peaceful resting areas on the Black Sea coastline. The park covering an area of approximately 40 hectares takes its name from the cool Çınarsuyu stream passing through it and flowing into the sea, and the magnificent plane trees on its shore. This is one of the rare points where a typical Black Sea forest ecosystem meets the sea. The high-humidity forest air and pine scent that greet you the moment you step into the park create a natural shelter against the beach's scorching sun. Çınarsuyu is not just a recreation area but also an important flora and fauna center of the region. The nature park's biggest attraction is the dense forest texture starting right behind its wide and fine sandy beach. This feature allows visitors to both swim in the sea and camp or have a picnic in the shade of trees on the same day. While the century-old trees within the park bear witness to the region's ecological past, the biological diversity formed in the delta where fresh waters filtering from the stream mix with the sea also offers interesting opportunities for bird watchers. Çınarsuyu is also one of Ordu's most equipped and popular stops for professional campers and caravaners. With its location within nature but equally close to the city, it is a haven where modern man can quench his longing for nature. For visitors, Çınarsuyu Nature Park offers a wide range of experiences from beach walks made in the early morning hours to evening conversations around the fire. The walking paths hidden among the park's vegetation create rich scenes full of light and shadow plays for nature photographers. This atmosphere where the sea's tranquility and the forest's rustle mix with each other provides visitors with a real purification. Çınarsuyu is the city's most precious 'green-blue' escape point, representing Ordu's hospitality and nature's generosity, hosting its guests by taking on a different beauty in each season.
